Proceeds for this singe go to Concern, a charity that provides assistance to Haiti (as well as other countries in need). Performers on this version include: Shane McGowan (of the Pogues), Nick Cave, Chrissie Hynde, Johnny Depp, Glen Matlock, Eliza Doolittle, and more. (I think that might be Mark Knopfler on guitar at the beginning?)

Thanks to @Jojadog for letting me know about this. So much more up my alley than that “We Are The World II” turned out to be. (but how can you complain about something that benefits so many in need?)

    It's James Walbourne (of The Pretenders) on guitar at the start, plus Mick Jones (The Clash) and Johnny Depp (the Pirate!) also play guitar.

    It's a miracle that Shane McGowan can even stand, never mind try to sing!!
