So, I was in the local Best Buy yesterday, and I noticed something very interesting about the cover to the new Guitar Hero 5.
So, after a quick redesign, I’ve got the new logo for Musically Challenged, which I’ll be building a site for in the next couple days.
Our next recording session for Musically Challenged will be this Saturday night, September 5 2009, from 8:30pm to 10:00pm Mountain. To be a contestant, you’ll need to register by sending me a quick email. We’ll also be able to call out to regular phone lines this time around, in addition to Skype, so if you don’t have a Skype account or a microphone on your computer, you’ll still be able to play. Of course, you’ll be able to tune in via uStream.tv, where you’ll see our brand new Category Board, which should make things a little simpler for contestants.
To register to be a contestant, send an email to the coverville email address with the subject “Musically Challenged Contestant”, and in the body of the message, include either your Skype name or your phone number. Make sure to tune in to uStream.tv Saturday night (a link to the live feed will be posted on Coverville.com), and prepare your thinking caps!
And the first person to post in the comments the nine albums that are featured in the unsolvable Rubik’s Cube above, wins a copy of Just Like Heaven: A Tribute To The Cure courtesy of American Laundromat Records!
Purple Rain (Prince)
Velvet Underground and Nico
Thriller (Michael Jackson)
Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols
Revolver (The Beatles)
Aladdin Sane (David Bowie)
Strange Days (The Doors)
Candy-O (The Cars)
KooKoo (Debbie Harry)
The first eight came quickly, but Debbie Harry drove me nuts for a while.
Drove you "nuts", or…"koo-koo"?
Absolutely correct!
Michael, send me your mailing address for the prize, by the way. I guess I don't have it.
Dangit. I knew all of 'em. If only I had checked Coverville.com more often!
I like this rubix cube puzzle thing, Brian.
woosh, I was positive sure that the lips were Natalie Imbruglia's
So, where's the feed for the show tonight? 🙂
I had them all (even Koo Koo) but could not pull "Purple Ran".
So is there going to be a podcast version of this "Musically Challenged" episode? I really liked the pilot version. Thanks.
