Last edition’s battle, “Seven Nation Army”, had the funky Nostalgia 77 version of the White Stripes’ tune taking over 51% of the vote. The Glambeats Corp. bossa-esque version still took a respectable 38% of the vote, with 9% not being a fan of either version. Only one write-in answer this last time, a recommended cover by none other than the Oak Ridge Boys.
This week’s competition puts production under the microscope with two covers of Amy Winehouse’s US breakthrough, “Rehab”. Paul Kelly’s stripped-down acoustic version and Frankmusik’s polished and produced dance track.
Which one has you saying “yes, yes, yes?”

I didn't like the Paul Kelly one at first but it grew on me as it went on. I didn't care for the Frankmusik one at all. It might be that the Mark Ronson production was such a big part of what made the original song.
Paul Kelly for the win. Go you big red fire truck!! (Australian in-joke).
I normally prefer that 80s lush production style, but it doesn't fit this song at all.
