The biggest blowout in WDIB history last week, with Copper Box’s take on “Comfortably Numb” easily trumping the disco glam version by The Scissor Sisters. Copper Box took 58.2% of the vote, with the Sisters taking 23.7%. 12.4% of you said that you didn’t like either of them, and 5.6% preferred another version, with Dar Williams the clear front runner in the “Other” category, followed by Van Morrison, Luther Wright and the Wrongs, and a vote each for The Machine and Rasputina. Good show.
You probably would have guessed this one was coming, with the name of the feature and all, but this week, we’re throwing in a couple versions of “Nobody Does It Better” by Carly Simon for the soundtrack to The Spy Who Loved Me (one of a handful of James Bond themes to not use the movie title as the song title). In the podcast, you’ll hear the trip-hop 8mm version, and the Aimee Mann version, but what I want to know is…
Which of those two versions is keeping all your secrets safe tonight?

I can think of nothing else but this re: The Spy who Loved Me. It's hard to explain the character Alan Partridge that Steve Coogan does so well… Enjoy!!

Poll closed too fast for me, but I agree with the results [close race but Aimee Mann wins].
